Is there not a section for Sport?
I can understand footie fans being interested, and others in a wider way, but it has nowt to do with Andalucia.

Re: Welsh Football Manager's-apparent suicide
Personally i believe this thread should be removed immediately from the forum including the "amigos lounge"
In my view it is too serious and sensetive a subject to be discussed on this forum.
Many thanks

If I was his wife or sons I would be in torment and the media frenzy is just awful. Please close this thread.
Re: Welsh Football Manager's-apparent suicide
I personally don't see that closing this thread, or any other, will affect the family in any way whatsoever. It 's been on the Welsh news now for the last 10-12 minutes, it's inevitable it's going to be discussed, and if it's any consolation, his family have said that they have been overwhelmed by the support shown.Jool wrote:If I was his wife or sons I would be in torment and the media frenzy is just awful. I doubt if closing this thread will help.Jool wrote:If I was his wife or sons I would be in torment and the media frenzy is just awful. Please close this thread.
Did you know a British soldier died in Afghanistan about the same time? - he didn't want to die!
Perspective required.
Re: Welsh Football Manager's-apparent suicide
Well this thread is polite compared to the rumours going around on the web. There does seem to be an outpouring of sympathy for the guy. It is his wife and Sons I feel for, they are left to pick up the pieces.
Re: Welsh Football Manager's-apparent suicide
Must admit everything that I have read and heard seems to be incredibly sympathetic and full of praise for the man. However, a young man with everything seemingly going for him committing suicide is bound to lead to all sorts of speculation unfortunately.katy wrote:Well this thread is polite compared to the rumours going around on the web. Re: Welsh Football Manager's-apparent suicide
Sid,
You banned the Meredith Kercher thread because 'it has nothing to do with Andalusia/Spain' (I'm para-phrasing because I cannot quote from the original post as it appears to have been deleted entirely).
This is the same situation, surely?

Re: Welsh Football Manager's-apparent suicide
The general opinion now seems to be that this thread is not appropriate for this form so I am closing it.
