Hi

I am Alan-LaCalas daughter. I just wanted to let people know that my dad sadly passed away last weekend. I know he has posted on here quite a bit, and has found the site very friendly and helpful.

What very sad news, my sincere condolences to you and your family. I remember reading Alan's posts about how much he was looking forward to his retirement in Spain, it is a pity he wasn't able to enjoy it for longer.

Our condolences too. I wondered why we hadn't heard much from him lately, hope it was because life was good rather than he was ill.
