Catalan and Basque prats

Can someone please tell me why poiticians from these two indebt regions of Spain stand behind their regions flag and the Euro flag, and obviously out of disrespect fail to include the Spanish flag yet should these tin pot places ever did become independent they would have to apply for EU membership which is by no means certain who wants more fascits nationas hasent Europe enough with Croatia and all those Eastern nations..so them groveling behind the EU flag makes no sense..

and he missed the most important point, being that FC Barcelona would no longer be eligible to play in La Liga and would have to be happy winning the Liga Catalan.

Probably the same reason that traitor Salmond is campaigning for independence. It guarantees him another term in office. EGO. Kudos, perks,, good salary, expenses. Beats doing a real job of work.
