Estate agents in Antequera area

Postby Ursula » Wed Oct 09, 2013 9:48 am

Hi, can anyone recommend a good estate agent to sell a house in Antequera area?

Can you please advise what the commission rate is at the moment?

Thanks
Urs

Hi

I don't know the answer to your question.

BUT

I had my apartment on with a couple of agents for a year and got not one viewing. I then took out the platinum offer from rightmove. Within 3 months i'd had 5 serious enquiries, 3 visits and a sale.

Whether you use an agent or not i'd try rightmove on a personal basis - but do tell the agent that they'll be no commission for them if the sale comes through that source!

It saved me several thousand euros on a small apartment. Well worth trying.

We used http://www.inlandandalucia.com they are based in mollina and are English speaking. Commission rates are much higher than in the UK with 5% and upwards been the norm.
Cheers, Barry

HI Barry

Thanks for the information. I wouldn't use that agent anyway, 8% is a bit far fetched. Talk about the English ripping off their own.

Urs.

We sold our house by promoting it everywhere , luckily my son is the computer boff so that helped.
rightmove, ebay, gumtree, and any online freebie you would be suprised where people look for property. even a sign on your property if on a busy road.
we got loads of spanish offering silly money, it can be a headache but great if you sell.
