Can anyone recommend a company to transport a Bentley Continental from Hertfordshire to Marbella please?

TIA

I might have to take you up on that offer ajtg1952 if I don't find a company to do it!! I've requested quotes (by email) from approximately 6-7 companies on Thursday and as yet, not one of them have got back to me. One company I called wanted to charge £850 + VAT which I think is a bit steep considering that was one way!!
I don't know, maybe thats what they charge?

I always thought that if you had to ask about the cost with RR and Bentley you couldn't afford it :)

850 don't sound bad to me, that's probably less than the petrol bill, as you said if you have a Bentley continental why quibble over a few euros :eh:

£650 is quite a low price for being able to pose in the Marbella cess-pool. Discussing it on here is an even cheaper way to brag!

Dear Jeebus, you need to revert to complaining about ex pats driving UK registered cars.

Ferry alone is about £700 so anything around £800 is good value.

2 years ago I used a company called Cartranspain, after a bit of research, to transport my Porsche from Nerja to West Sussex. I was nervous, but it had to be done and it all went well. I have tried to find note of what I paid, but can't find it, but I do know it was not a massive amount as I was on a tight budget. It was put onto a transporter with a Ferrari, Rolls Royce, a Seat, and two golf trollies - so quite a mix. My car left me on a Monday evening and was delivered to the new address in UK on a low loader on the Friday morning.

The paperwork that was completed on pick up involved noting any dents, scratches, or markings of any kind and was very thorough. So I made sure I was just as thorough when it arrived, and everything was fine. I was allowed to transport goods in the car too, but of course no booze, or cigarettes.

Good luck.

Why are people so nasty at times? I wasn't bragging at all and as for 'posing' you couldn't be further from the truth Petrol old racer. why are you so quick to judge me when you don't know me or my circumstances? would you have been so spiteful had I not mentioned the make & model?
I really don't know why you have replied to me in the manner in which you did?

Enrique, thank you for bringing my previous post to my attention, I completely forgot that I had asked on here before.

Thank you to everyone else who replied too. I meant to write that I was quoted £1850 + VAT and NOT £850!!!

That certainly used to be the case but a Bentley Continental is really a big VW.

Nice car though!

Yeah and I suppose a Lamborghini Aventador SV is just a fast Audi! (also under the parentage of VW)

The Bentley Continental in my view is nothing more than footballers bling, unless, of course you're talking about the original S3 model which is actually a piece of art disguised as a car, if I had the money this is the model I would invest in from 63-65 model, I'm not knocking anyone's choice here, but when it comes to class the modern Continental doesn't cut it for me !

Bragging? Which is displaying more modesty - " how much to transport a car..." Or "how much to transport a Bentley..."?
A bit like "I lost my Louis Vitton luggage in the first class lounge.." Rather than "I've had my bags nicked"!
As for Marbella, it always seems to me to be the equivalent of Blackpool, but with more prostitutes and drug dealers.
