Campo Steve is obviously a fighter. Long may the great news of his recovery continue.

That is good news that his tumour has shrunk, so hopefully he will be with us again soon. Lovely that he has all his family around him to give him support. Get better soon Steve :D

Is there any more news about Campo Steve? Can we hope to hear from the lad again?

A very quick update. Steve is not doing so well. There is no more treatment but he is being cared for at home. As with most tumours, there are always other problems that Steve has to contend with. But despite his problems, he has still retained his sense of humour.

Sorry to hear that Steve is not doing well. I so hope things improve and that he can start to re-post on here. Best wishes to him and all his family who are coping with this illness with Steve.

If only all our good wishes could be channelled into something positive for Campo Steve - we really do miss him on here and continue to hope he can battle through this.

I am saddened to hear of his battle, and can only add my sincere wishes that he is not suffering too much. I know we both regret that we never got together for a pint.

Very sad to report, but Steve passed away at lunchtime today. His family were with him. I will say some more later.

That is very sad news. If and when it is appropriate could you ask the family if there is a way of making a donation to a charity of their choosing? If they prefer to keep anonimity I will still make a donation.

What sad news and how dreadful for his family. I would like to send sympathies but the family do not know me. Is there a collective sympathy we can send from all of us on here that bantered with Steve in the good old days?
