Locked out of andalucia.com

Had to open a new account in order to ask, has anyone else been locked out of Andalucia.com
I know my user name kexon I've had it since 2004 i think, but all of a sudden I cannot log in and I cannot change my password because the system will not allow my email address.
Any suggestions on what I can do to retrieve my old account Kexon

Yes tried that a week ago, no reply yet.
I think El cid made a comment about the administrators not replying to emails some time ago.
Just do not know how to sort this out.

I got locked out a while back. No attempt to contact anyone to do with A.com resulted in any assistance at all

I was locked out a little while ago because my password was no longer accepted . . . fortunately user name and email address OK, Had to wait for a new password which is too complex to remember (at my advanced age) but I just have to look it up each time . . . . must get it tattooed onto the back of my hand. Be patient . . . Sid will resolve the problem . . . he always does. Worth his weight in gold is Sid!

The account with username 'kexon' is active.
When you say 'locked out' what exact message do you get?
Have you tried resetting the password?

Apologies that you had to set up a new account to message us.
There are no PM's waiting in the 'andalucia' account and no emails waiting in the forums @ andalucia.com so don't know what went wrong.

Cannot use the forgot password because my email is not recognised

I have had to change my username. I was out of the forum for a long time as no amount of contacting admin got a positive response. The 'change your password' did not work. I tried about 20 times and gave up. Then I just reregistered with new username and password.

It has sent a new password to this email address. We trust you still have access to this email account.

Sorry to hear you tried about 20 times and gave up.
We normally check for messages every other day but it sometimes runs to a few days if we are busy.
We are not sure what went wrong, but we certainly don't have messages piling up unanswered.

So why did I never receive any reply? I was locked out for about ten days, sent messages every day, but never got a response. I even managed to find a 952 number to call - but never got any answer.

And by the way - where were admin when the lack of notifications fiasco was going on? Nobody bothered to explain or try to assist:

Thanks Andalucia. This was over a period of weeks. I did get a response pointing me to the 'change your password' bit. When you are trying it from our side, it doesn't matter how many times you fill in the forgot password thingy, it just does not work.
