Repsol...Propane and Butane
Just been to town to change two Repsol Propane bottles and was told that Propane is not available from Repsol anymore for Private customers, commercial only. The lass swapped them for Cepsa with apologies and a nice smile so no probs. All sounds a bit Spanish to me...anybody else heard or experienced this?
Re: Repsol...Propane and Butane
Is it the same valve or did you have to buy a new one?

Re: Repsol...Propane and Butane
No, same valve, same jet size etc. Different to the UK!
Re: Repsol...Propane and Butane
Do you really need propane?
To save me typing have a look at https://www.budgetpropaneontario.com/bl ... and-butane
When I lived in the UK I had a canal boat, always used butane.
Never had a problem even when th canal was frozen.
Cheers
Gerry

Re: Repsol...Propane and Butane
We do find that at our altitude when the Ambient Temperature falls below 4 degrees that Butane stops gassing on the bottles located outside the main building, it is quite usual to use Propane in these circumstances.
