I have been following this story for YEARS. The only thing I cannot understand is how they didn't manage to buy the judge.
I know it's not an Andalucian story per se but Andalucia has it's own corruption problems — as has every other part of Spain. Maybe, if every member of this family goes to real, proper prison for 100 years each AND pays back all the money, then maybe, Spain will have the courage to start to tackle this huge problem.

The Benitez's next to our old casa were worse. Couldn't leave your hozelock adaptor on the tap for a second without it vanishing. 6 they got.
