But of course, it will be “advisory” and unenforceable!

I found it strange that country after country in Europe was experiencing a large increase in cases of Covid but Spain wasn't seeing the same levels of increase. Here is the possible reason

Regardless of the level of tests, the all important number of deaths has been steadily declining since November 19th and has never has been any where near the level of death numbers in the first wave March-MayPaddy Pumpkin wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 7:25 pm I found it strange that country after country in Europe was experiencing a large increase in cases of Covid but Spain wasn't seeing the same levels of increase. Re: Covid Restrictions Andalucia
The number of deaths lag positive tests by several weeks, so unfortunately we haven't seen the effects yet

These guys reckon between 2 and 8 weeks. So what we saw in mid November was from people becoming infected in October. The real effect of Xmas won't be seen until February but we are hampered in trying to predict it by the poor data we have now because of holidays. Fingers crossed that it is nothing like the first wave, but without any data it is impossible to predict. I hope the lack of data doesn't lead the authorities astray.

Here we go again costakid, we have been here before so we know what to expect but i am very hopeful that this year will still be much better than last year. I have come to the conclusion that the way to get through it is to stop watching the news!

Not sure how many airlines will survive and even worse for Spanish hospitality.

Yes see your point, we might have to swim! The saving grace is that it is winter and hopefully Spring will be more positive.

Restrictions are coming. Various articles on Ideal yesterday with comments from politicians and data from the weekend showing an increase in numbers. All pretty much saying the same thing.

Lets hope the vaccine works and we can back to normal for the summer. I dont fancy another summer wearing a mask in the street.Paddy Pumpkin wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 10:22 am https://www.ideal.es/granada/junta-habl ... 57-nt.html

The meeting is on Friday, so we should know by Saturday.
I just hope they don’t close the provincial border as we live 5 km from it and almost all our friends are on the other side!
