SANTANDER SMS SCAM?

Postby Unicorn » Fri Mar 11, 2022 7:14 pm

I have just received an SMS that looks very like a scam purporting to be from Santander. It says my account has been block, click on this, blah blah. I am treating it as a scam.

Anyone else received something similar?

Cheers.

I got one today from BBVA. Obviously a scam as I don't have an account with them. I deleted it, Be careful with messages from courier companies as well

I have received some of them and it is clear that they are scams.

Never click on any link in any suspicious SMS!

Never.

The quickest and easiest way to check if it's a scam is to look closely at the email sender !

Any calls with Indian accents tell them to send you a letter in normal mail. Any emails just delete.
