Andalucia goes PP

Postby Lavanda » Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:48 am

Maybe it's not really a surprise to wake up this morning to Andalucia now having a majority PP government. Maybe the Socialists have been a bit too interested in their own petty squabbles and corruption projects — as have the PP, of course. Maybe people are fed-up. Maybe the PP will not do much better. However, the people have spoken, loud and clear.

I guess better for them to have a majority than going in with vox like in castilla...

Seems strange to me how what i would call a working class region is ran by the PP. Dont know the history though and whether psoe was the dominant force in the past?

Agree with you about the far right.

Our friends said Andalucia has been PSOE for forty years. Our local town has been marvellously improved in the time we have lived here. The town in the other direction remains a run down dump controlled by PP.
