Correct me if I am wrong but we are expecting a rise to our Government Pension from April 1st. This should be enough to be noticeable. In the past a pension payable today i.e. the middle of April has had a pro rata increase for two weeks the balance paid in May.
Is there a clue out there as to why this has not happened.

Re: Pension
Just "Googled" this...
It says the increase is effective from 10th April.
Think that is your answer...

Re: Pension
Mine was due on Monday (10th) but they paid it last week without increase as, presumably, some sort of sneaky saving.

Re: Pension
I imagine everyone will get exactly what they were due. May take a month or so to even out.

Re: Pension
Mrs Jonbar & I usually get "part" increases in the April payments then the full increases after that.
Re: Pension
UK state pensions are paid in arrears, not in advance.

Re: Pension
So Unicorn, except for perhaps a day or so, you should receive your full increase in May !
