Some are better than others. We have to use bottled water and buy the 1.5L and I've got used to those. The ones we hate are those for the tetrabrick type containers for milk, fruit juice etc. Also if we buy a small bottle of kefir or juice to drink whilst we are out, you have to shake it before opening then the lid of full of gunk which drips on you as you try to drink out of the bottle.

Apparently an EU directive . Some morons used to litter the tops. Now presumably they can ltter the container et all.

Anyone noticed how thin some tetrapaks have become? Won’t be long before you can buy a square container to hold them while you figure out how to open the top without the contents shooting out.

Quite agree Olive.
Sadly most modern packaging is an assault course nowadays.
E.g. I can't be bothered with scratching & scraping to open a packet of biscuits; I simply use a knife and slice behind the first couple of biscuits.Done in two seconds.
Fortunately the current Mrs Jonbar is a complete expert on package-opening so we never starve. :D
