Airline prices for April

Postby ashtondav » Sun Oct 30, 2005 12:53 pm

Hi

I am coming out to Malaga/Granada in April next year (form any London or midlands airport). I can get prices for Monarch, BA etc but Ryannair and easujet have yet to announce prices.

Does anyone know when these 2 companies start releasing their April prices so i can make a decent comparison? (So far Monarch seems cheapest on my dates - Gatwick/Granada)

Thanks...

Get onto their mailing list they will e-mail you a couple of days before they publicise them and the cheapest prices.

Agree with Katy, if you are not on their list, put your name down. They normally let you know a few days in advance of when the sales start. We use BMIBaby (no other choice!) and they are all the same, none of them have their summer prices out yet. Given that you have such a choice of airports, there is no panic, you'll have a huge choice.

No good for us, they only fly from Coventry, Bournemouth or Doncaster / Sheffield, don't they?

Thompson are usually full of screaming brats off to the holiday village or somewhere similar.

Ryanair summer flights came out during the last week in October last year so they should be out any day now.

The trouble with Ryanair is that they do not tell you when they're coming out in advance, even if you are on their mailing list. Customer Services claim to not know in advance either.

So I'm afraid it seems to be a matter of keep checking!

Just booked a flight for a client from East Midlands Aiport, I had the choice of BMI Baby, EasyJet & Thomson, all far cheaper than flights from Manchester or Liverpool.

Jan, the flights I booked for November '05 but £52 return! I've also made her block bookings until March '06 .
I was thinking of AshtonDav as he/she said about any Midlands airport......Prices not released for April yet, but it gives another option for them to look at when they are publicised.

Thanks poshtotti, I'm getting fed up now of looking for Easter, but you have to be in early for good deals in school holidays, so I've no option really!

Easyjet summer fares usually come out in December and their winter fares usually come out in June/ July. (though I have known this to differ on occasion)
Monarchs mailing list works efficiently and if on it you will get prior notice of everything. I find easyjets mailing list to be hit and miss as to whether I receive notification on sales or anything else.
Agree with Katy on the Thompsons, all of the airlines are obviously full of families during school breaks, but Thompson in particular seem to be full of the Karaoke Hotel package crowd during summer break. Its not pleasant.
I wear it well...........

DH books his flight half a year in advance (ie) March and September ex Jerez to Stansted. He is only interested in flight departing and arriving into Jerez.

Hopefully in time to come, more budget airlines will service ex Jerez to more destinations.
