Logging on.

Postby Lyric » Thu Jan 03, 2019 5:58 pm

After years of having 'remember me' ticked, not logging off and therefore not needing to log on each visit suddenly I am being required to log on at each visit.
Has something changed or is it a setting at my end?

I am the same. But somehow it has 'righted' itself again. I had to delete my old bookmark and do a new one. Then it worked

I always log out of any site when finished. It is much safer security wise.

It comes and goes. Sometimes I have to log in.

Logging out every time is pointless as it is a public forum so anyone has access. Most secure sites such as banks etc log out automatically after a short period of inactivity.

I find I have to log in if I use a different computer (ie laptop), and then when I some back to the pc I have to log in again. It also happens when I run some cleaning software such as ccleaner.

You can program CCleaner not to erase the cookies you want to keep.
