Re: Forum software update
From where I am and using google, the wesite is just a load of mixed up scribble, same when I launch the site on my phone...Launching explorer.. it comes up ok but it obviously still has lot's of problems when launching from different browsers.. I have had problems with it everyday for almost a week...I asked my son to launch it from his address 10 miles away, same problems.

In Edge. It wasn't displaying correctly so I had to clear the cache and then fine. No problems in Chrome or Brave.

Re: Forum software update
On Apple desktop it is a real mess, jumbled and unreadable both in google and Safari. Perfect on Apple iPad which I use most. Haven’t checked my phone.
Also half a page gap between some posts.

Seems ok on Safari
Re: Forum software update
It's a pity they didn't ask a few of us to be beta testers and test the new software before it was released on the general membership.
I would have been happy to be a beta tester.

When i try to post on wifi i get a notice at the top were you write your reply saying your I.P has been blocked cause its blacklisted when i try to post. then with a link to spamhaus.org. i only posted not long ago and it was fine. I posting this ok via data. Something to with the upgrade?

Re: Forum software update
Old adage - if it ain’t broke etc.
So far the upgrade it a real mess, bugs all over the place. I tried the beta and it was fine. This version is terrible.

Hi Gerry,
Beachcomber, El Cid and myself where the only ones on the Dev system, they sorted some of the bugs we reported but not all.
I'm not seeing any of the stuff other Members are reporting................why

Re: Forum software update
I would suggest that only 3 beta testers aren't enough.
I would think there are many variants of operating systems and browsers being used.

Re: Forum software update
Dear Members,
We are looking into the reports on this thread.
Trying to separate the issues we can fix from the temp disruption caused by the old browser cookies.
We have:
'Option buttons / Icons above the posting window missing' as per screenshot by Enrique.
and
The 'round icon at the left of each thread which is red for unread threads' is not working as noted by El Cid.
Others say this is ok. For those it is not ok, can you describe further so we can replicate.
Anything else?
At lease it is running faster.
best regards,
Admin
