Hello Admin,
There has been a huge increase in Google Ads, some of them are actually in the middle of the posts.
There is a limit to how many adverts are acceptable to users and you may wish to take into account that for some it makes reading too uncomfortable.
I'd rather chip in €5 a year than have these Google Ads flashing in my face. I hope they make you lots of revenue.

Re: Adverts
A bit of a pain but I guess they generate income which makes this a free site for everyone.
Re: Adverts
I wrote the same on the Forum Update thread. Clearing the cookies has not helped.

Re: Adverts
Hi,
As I posted yesterday...........
I think "They" where playing around with the Data Base prior to going live as the development site was showing similar.
As a workaround for now use an add-blocker on your Browser, for FireFox ..... ublock origin is the one to go for.

Re: Adverts

Re: Adverts
Been using Brave browser for a while now. Likewise no ads, popups, trackers or other assorted nasties. Not had one 'We detected that you are using an ad blocker' message since i started using it which i did have with a couple of other browsers i tried.

Re: Adverts
It costs the A.com site owners money to run this site.
They probably have to pay for the software to run this forum.
They get a small amount of money every time an advert is displayed.
I know adverts can sometimes be intrusive and annoying at times.
Should we be publicly suggesting the use of adblockers which deprive them of income?
Cheers

Re: Adverts
Thought they got paid for clickthroughs not displaying. But then what do I know. I have the blocker primarily for sites like daily mail.
Brave does have the facility to easily turn on/off on a per site level

I agree. Rather ads than an annual fee.
