MESSAGE TO ADMIN: Stop re-classifying Posts! Whos with me?
I ask admin to stop re-classifying posts to the other topics even if they are more relevant to those topics because nobody looks at them people cant be bothered to go through all those different categories and only look in LIVING IN ANDALUCIA: However much you try to impose the categories the simple fact is that this forum isnt big enough to warrant that and only works if you classify it out of completeness, for example in a BMW forum a 3-series category, a 5-series, a 6 series and so forth because people will only be interested in their model. But in this forum it does not work like that. Whos with me?

daneinspain wrote:funny isnt it? And whats funnier is the lack of intelligence of people voting in this poll. They dont even give reasons as to why admin should carry on reclassifying posts to dead categories that few people look at. Its ridiculous.
Lack of intelligence? Because people disagree with you but can not be bothered to put in reasons as it isn't important doesn't make them lacking in intelligence.
I note that you did not include the ones who voted in favour with you as not being intelligent.
I see that Nevada, but if you look at the topics and the number of hits it doesn't vary much between the different classifications, implying that people browse pretty evenly over all the topics rather than just hitting 'Living in Andalucia,' they just post more items there and in the general section. The hits don't identify who has looked at the topics, so I wonder how our Danish friend can assume that large numbers of people only go to one section and ignore the rest.

I said lacking in intelligence because:
They do not have the intelligence to realise this forum does not need lots of categories. It is a specialised forum for andalucia not a forum for all of europe.
As I said they dont have reasons for their answer. People who agree dont really need to make a statement, they are agreeing its the standard way we behave as humans.
They do not see that by reclassifying topics to forums that are not as visited as the living in andalucia board, that they are robbing people of the quality and quantity of responses available. Now I said quality but quite frankly Im not all that serious about it because a lot of people on this forum are useless fools.

One good reason for having categories is that you don't waste time having to browse through a listing that has no relevance to you. For example although I am a parent, my children are pretty well grown up and are not being educated in Spain anyway so I have none of the concerns of the people who are bringing up children in Andalusia and have no relevant information to offer them either.
Another good reason for having categories is that if you have an interest in a particular problem you can get to it more directly. I think there would be no harm in having more divisions. One for tax and bureaucratic questions would be useful. If people are interested in a particular section or topic they will click on it. You loose nothing by refining search options.
