Postby olivefarmer » Sat Mar 31, 2007 5:27 pm

Hi

We have guests staying this week, and they would like to visit Granada for one of the semana santa processions.

Does anybody know the times and dates?

Thanks

dear olive farmer

Bad weather again today - so more cancellations, I have to say the ones which did go did the 3 hours route in about 20 minutes!

The 4.00 ones went but the 7.00 was cancelled.

I dont know if you can call the tourist office to check before setting off?

Amazing what a turn of speed can be put on when they have to, isn't it? Just goes to show how long they spin it out for normally!

luckily we where on a balcony, the amount of swaying from 30 boys carrying the weight of a large BMW at trotting speed - I 'M amazing no-one got squashed. It might have been a bit quicker as there wasn't many pentitants or nazaries, those high pointy shoes are dangerous enough in Granada let alone trying to avoid sliding down a hill and crashing into Paseo!!

Its a shame the rain ruined it - as the whole town is involved from Grannies to small children carrying flowers.
