We are looking to fly to Jerez in the autumn, and i want to make sure the jerez (cadiz) ive seen on the flight destinations, is the same one adjacent to the Portugese border in the south-west. (well, not that near the border...but you know what i mean). Spain is a big place....and i dont want to end up in another Jerez in the top corner somewhere.
cheers - Mick.
Just to make sure.

I heard of someone who thought they had booked a holiday in the Dominican Republic, but when they got there they were in Dominica. Still it was the Carribean!

No, they are serarate islands miles apart. Dominican republic is where there are lots of all inclusive holiday complexes. And Dominica is a more low key island, near St Lucia.dido72 wrote:I thought the dominican republic was also called dominica, am I wrong??
I have been to the dominican republic or was it dominica? Now I'm not so sure
Then there was the couple who got an invite to a wedding in Christchurch, which was sent as a courtesy as the wedding was in Christchurch, New Zealand. The couple travelled from the north of england to Christchuch (Hampshire?) and were unable to find the chuch unsurprisngly.
