Fuengirola to Seville By Train

Postby mijasmagic » Tue Sep 02, 2008 5:23 pm

Can anyone please tell me whether the trains from Fuengirola to Malaga go into the same station as those leaving for Seville?

The answer is yes...especially now when there is only one station open in Malaga :-)

Maria Zambrona (?) is the new, updated station in Malaga and is superb - a level walk from the Cercania local train platform to the long distance platforms.

We have used the service to Sevilla and Cordoba - you can book your tickets from the travel agent opposite Fuengirola station (costs 5 euros per person I recall) which takes all the hassle from the process. Book in advance and there are some great deals available.
Enjoy

If you are over 60 remember that with a Tarjeta Dorada (€5) you can get good discounts on Medium and Long distance trains, up to 40% :P
