Parking at Malaga station

Postby Robano » Sun Sep 28, 2008 8:38 pm

Any advice on parking for 4 days at Malaga Renfe station? Or is it best to park at the airport?

I assume the Renfe station is the one on the west side of the city?

Thanks
Steve

I believe it is expensive. My father was advised not to park there when he went to Madrid on the train.

Renfe is just to the west of the city centre. Allow half an hour driving from the airport. The underground at the RENFE station is secure, well lit, cameras etc. Problem is thee cost of 18€ a day. I have heard that a preferente AVE ticket gives three days free parking.

I would not park on the street near renfe unlis I had an old car and plenty of time to find a space.

P3 at the airport and then free bus to the terminal and then no 19 bus to the bus station next door to RENFE is a hard work option.
