Dear Diary, Big Brother's watching you!
Today's Euroweekly news had a small article about Google.
"Google's rumoured project to store users' personal files and operating systems on it's own servers instead of a PC is disturbing."
I read George Orwell's 1984 25 years ago, found it very disturbing and thought provoking then.
We've accepted the cameras as the norm, but "Thought Police?" Because that's where it's heading.
OH says, if you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to worry about.
That's not the point! My ramblings are my own, I choose, who to share them with.
I'd be interested to hear your views.
(Sorry, should have posted in General")

I was reading about their mobile phone tracking system today, keep tabs on your kids or husband
Re: Dear Diary, Big Brother's watching you!
Or they can keep tabs on you
Re: Dear Diary, Big Brother's watching you!
I rarely move outside of a 10km radius, be boring keeping tabs on me

The Web Of Trust Firefox add on has been criticised for giving to many false positives.
I don't use this add on. Firefox seems to do a good job of warning me about dodgy sites.
Cheers
Gerry

Yes, I checked further and discovered that this appears to be as a result of feedback from two contributors only.
Gus, as Gerry says, this is a Firefox add-on called Web Of Trust designed to warn against dodgy web sites.

The "Thought Police" will have a very frustrating time with me. It does not happen very often, is usually a complete mess, and I've forgotten it after a few seconds. Bit like my sex life then.
My brain works like lightning -one flash and it's gone
