Pre-paid cards for flight payments
Re: Pre-paid cards for flight payments
Bad news now - I took a friend into Banesto to get one of their prepaid cards, and they now only issue them to Banesto customers. If you've already got one, you can keep (and renew) it, but they aren't issuing any more to non customers

Correct me if I am wrong - but my understanding is that these forums are for everyone - not just residents in Spain. You are obviously not interested, so why post a reply?curatokid wrote:It states " for Uk residents only "..........

Re: Pre-paid cards for flight payments
Can anyone update me on who now does prepaid Mastercards in Spain? I have a Nationwide account in UK but my registered address with them is in Spain. I don't have a UK address so it needs to be a card for Spanish resident.
In Spain I bank with Cajamar but all their cards are Visa. Don't particularly want to open an account with another bank if it is going to cost me but would consider it if that is the only option.

I've got an inferiority complex, but it's not a very good one!

Your post was interesting information, curatokid clarified that it was only for some members here - again, useful and interesting. Your repost merely shows you are a grump - today at least!alexander1 wrote: You are obviously not interested, so why post a reply?

Thanks Mowser. 1% is going to be better than the tens of pounds it can cost without the card. I'll get one.Mowser wrote:http://tinyurl.com/6map3jf

This was mentioned in one of todays Sunday papers in Ireland (Sunday Independent). mentions annual charge of €10 and no charges to reload or make payments in the card's issued currency.
Seems to be available in Spain, so this would work for Ryanair charges except if the flights originated from UK
