Antequera

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Antequera?. The reviews of the ones I've looked at aren't very good. The parador seemed to be about the best of a bad bunch. We wouldn't want to pay more than about 80.00 per night for the room :)

I stayed in Finca Eslava 2 years ago this month, for a week and found it very comfortable, reasonably priced and had good facilities. Nice restaurant and bar as well

The parador is excellent, newly refurbished, and you can get deals for being a cotton-top if that applies?
The only snag is that the ensuite bathroom (at least in the room we had) was not walled off with anything solid, but with "obscure" glass - you could clearly see a shadowy figure inside when it was in use, and any noises (straining?) could clearly be heard in the bedroom!

I'm staying in Hotel Castilla on Saturday night so if you can wait I'll let you know on Monday! Was only 40€ for a room, it's located right in the middle though which suits me but might not be your cup of tea

The Antequera Golf Hotel had some very good rates recently around the 50 euro mark, worth a phone call.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and had no complaints, very convenient for the town centre.
