Looking for a short break in a hotel in August, within 2hr drive of Sevilla city, would like a pool and may be a village to wander around and a good restaurant. Like peaceful. Any suggestions?
Re: Recommendations
Wow, why 2 hours drive from Seville?
That could be almost anywhere in Andalucia

Thanks Roz, have been to Ronda a couple of times, was looking for somewhere off the beaten track.
On short break I dont want to spend too much time traveling, anywhere in Andalucia?? It takes more than 2 hrs to get as far as Ronda, Malaga, and Gib to name but a few, unless you know something I dont?pietree wrote:Wow, why 2 hours drive from Seville?

Lovely "white" village Zuheros, some flat walking/ cycling along the old converted railway track as well.

All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

A few suggestions, I haven't stayed at any, but they have good references. The areas are lovely, a bit hot in August, but shouldn't be too busy.

The first is a bit out of the village, you really need to drive to Grazalema if you want a village to wander around. Unless you are young and fit, it's quite up and down!
The second, nice hotel, but nothing much there really. It's at La Estación, which is one severe uphill hike to Benaojan.
Both good hotels, and excellent as a base to drive around, but if a village to wander around is essential, you'll need to be fit!
