Hot???????????? Hot isn´t the word I´d use to describe 47 degrees  My poor hens will be suffering again :( We have to soak the ground where they sit in the shade. I´d bring them indoors into the aircon but they are not house trained

And me, we avoid the summer months all together, 40º plus is punishment, not a holiday. Even worse, would be to be near oliveview01, 47º surrounded by a plague of rats! :(

I found andalucía was too cold from November to May, June perfect, July and August too hot, Sept perfect, Oct too rainy :lolno: Once went to sevilla and it was 43C every day, complete waste of time for sightseeing.

The Spanish aren't so stupid after all..They leave the inland cities in droves and head for the costas in August. The north of Spain is a popular destination for this reason because there are days where you can get respite from the heat...
Their cities are full of tourists from other countries during August.

Seville is such a stunningly beautiful city, but too hot in August.Best times to visit are early autumn or spring(but dont leave it too long, as some years spring only seems to last for a couple of weeks)!

Super  stunning views , highly recommend it for a holiday. Friendly people. Our friends from marbella (both teachers) are spending 2 months there. Only a short trip, would have liked longer.
