cruise from Gibraltar
Hi - just wondering whether anyone know if you can buy a cruise holiday starting from Gibraltar, my mum lives in La Linea and I want to take her on a cruise next year round the med, it would be really convenient if we could board at Gibraltar. I've looked at a lot of the cruise websites but they all seem to go from UK or Malaga or Barcelona, Gibraltar is a stop off point often but I can't actually find any that start from Gibraltar. Any info or Travel agents I can contact would be much appreciated. Thanks

Re: cruise from Gibraltar
Ask any travel agent if you can join the cruise at Gibraltar. This one should oblige...

Look at Costa Cruises. I believe you can join The ship at any of their stop off points.
Re: cruise from Gibraltar
I'm sure the cruise lines will be more than happy to accommodate leaving from Gib. A mate of mine and family last year went on a Med cruise for a week. The price included leaving from London. He asked if he could re-do the cruise and make it a fortnight. As he didn't want to fly back to the UK then come back over, the cruise company said there was no problem. They subtracted the price of the air ticket and put them up in a hotel overnight free.

Have you thought of the weekly river cruise from Seville to Cádiz and back? Not the Med I know but worth considering. The prob with catching the cruise at Gib is that you finish somewhere else and have to find travel home. A start and finish in the same place makes a world of difference.
