We've stayed, recently at Hotel Torrequebrada Benalmadena, with our 3 children (7,6 and 1). Its not an all inclusive but they do full board packages. The hotel is child friendly and there are some good deals to be had during the winter months. The hotel was clearly very special in its day but looks a bit tired now. They have a good indoor pool (and 2 outdoor) and plenty of play areas outside. There are lots of activities within a short distance e.g. crocodile park, cable car, butterfly park, sealife etc.
I'm not sure about other meals but the breakfast was excellent with free bubbly if you could stomach it in the morning!

I usually use alpharooms but im really struggling to book and find something.
Essentially it need something to entertain the kids, all inclusive as most of the resorts are dead at this time of year, and an indoor pool.
Im very surprised to see 90% of the hotels on the costa closed for the winter season. I just assummed that xmas was also a busy time!!!

ive tried to get into the palace in august for 4-5 day but i believe that in the summer they have a 1 week minimum.
I believe it was £1,500 in August for a week AI, it was cheaper to get a cruise around the med!!!
Re: Winter Hotel CDS
ive been calling around the hotels and alot of them are closed for winter for renevations.
All inclusive and child friendly, not too much to ask is it.

Have you checked the Bali or La Roca. They are both all inclusive. I have no idea of the standards. They're both located in Benalmádena, with plenty to do with kids even in the winter and within walking distance (Sealife, Selwo, Paloma Park, Ice rink + heated swimming pool, crazy golf).

Why not go for an apartment? You'll get a great deal at that time of year.

We used to rent villas and appartments, but have been converted to the benefits of AI and will never convert back!!!!Chunky Monky wrote:Why not go for an apartment? You'll get a great deal at that time of year.
For a short break self catering is a bit of a drag!!

I think the bali is closed (or at least its staff are not there) for the winter.Ama wrote:Have you checked the Bali or La Roca. They are both all inclusive. I have no idea of the standards. Re: Winter Hotel CDS
Don't know the Hotel but it is on the wrong side of the A-7 and the area around will be dead in winter. I didn't realise it was a Hotel thought it was apartments. It is at least a 10 min drive to marbella centre.
