Re: Jellyfish
The red flags were out yesterday. It was a bit choppy so it may have been that or it could have been the jellyfish.

Re: Jellyfish
They were definitely in the water at Herradura on Saturday. Pink, the size of a saucer.

Why La Herradura only? I know it's a bay but you'd think they'd wash up further down the coast too.Sandramay wrote:They were definitely in the water at Herradura on Saturday. Pink, the size of a saucer.

Possibly because she was on that particular beach on Saturday - the same day I saw the red flag out. As far as I know they are all along the coast.Dr1Gonzo wrote:Why La Herradura only? No one has said that it is only in La Herradura but the OP specifically asked about La Herradura.
Why do you feel the need to be so confrontational? It is not a trait that is acceptable on this forum.

There were plenty in Nerja too but I am told they have gone now!
Re: Jellyfish
They were at Torre del Mar on Sunday, not loads but enough to stop me going in the sea.

I've put the saddo on "ignore" already, they have nothing to say that I want to read.El Cid wrote:

I was asking if the jellyfish problem was restricted to La Herradura.

Re: Jellyfish
There were 2 massive jellyfish washed up on the beach in Adra last week, they made the local news, wouldn't fancy one that size anywere near me
Just look at this link for Adra 551 recent reported cases of jellyfish stings, and its only along the coast.

No soporto ver la casa sucia, ahora mismo me levanto y apago la luz.
