I checked them out Frank. Not cheap but you know what you are getting with no added extras. I prefer that rather than the skullduggery from some of the other con merchants.

just back from Spain with 2 rental experiences.
I have used the above system for years.
This time both companies refused to honour the terms of the cartrawler.com contract.
In one case the reason was that I had not printed out the contract, I had it on my tablet.

In both cases the basic quote is only for 3rd party insurance and then there are 3 additions
Glass/Tyres/underbody
Personal Accident
The rest.
Despite taking the full insurance, they still insisted on taking a deposit so in one case what I expected to be 297 was 1050.
They saw I had my father-in-law in a wheel chair so they just screwed me as it was late at night down in the basement in Malaga Airport.
As noted earlier the excess cover policies are now worthless for most rentals.

The final problem is that the return is done on an iphone app and there is no paperwork to make a complaint.
