Has anyone taken the Autobus from Granada bus station to Madrid city?
Wondering if it stops on route for a refreshment break? Appears to take 5 hours!

Hi dawn,
Yes they stop for comfort break, they have WC on board but really like you to wait for official stop.
My daughter did it both ways recently as she is working in Madrid.........

If the 'comfort' is a big deal, why not train?

The AutoBus stops after 2.5hrs. The Motorway from Granada to Madrid is in good condition, and with the completed section through the Bad Lands (Parque Natural de Despeñaperros) really straight.

We took the Alsa economy autoubus Granada to Madrid at the weekend
No complaints, smooth ride, 5 hours with half hour break at a service station mid trip.
Only downside was that the free wifi didn't appear to be working. At a cost of €21 each person, excellent value for money
