Onward travel from Malaga airport
Onward travel from Malaga airport
We have a friend flying out to join us for a few days. She'll fly into Malaga airport. It would be convenient for us to pick her up in Granada or somewhere on the coast like Motril, Salobrena or Almunecar. Can anyone advise us please on websites for train or bus timetables? Would it be harder to travel on a Sunday? Are there frequent trains/buses from the airport? Do you have to get into Malaga city first? Many thanks.

We had a young friend who got the bus from the airport in Malaga direct to Granada. I think the bus goes on Sundays, too. You can check here http://www.alsa.es/

She will have to catch a bus or train from the airport to the bus station.

According to my link, there is a direct bus to Granada from the airport (and our young friend took it last year - he was in Granada on a language course)
