Malaga on New Year's Day

Malaga on New Year's Day

My daughter and I will be arriving in Malaga on New Year's Eve. In our current plans our only full day in town will be New Year's Day - subject to change based on advice I may get here! I'm curious to know what businesses and "sights" are likely to be open on the holiday. Are restaurants typically open? How about the Museum of Glass and Crystal? Any tips much appreciated!

Sorry to say everyhing will be closed on Jan 1st, except a few restaurants.
