What is the best website to book a family holiday (hotel only) on the Costa del Sol?.
Its specifically to book all inclusive. Can I have peoples recommendation on what they use?

Re: Hotel Websites
We only use booking.com. Good prices and usually you can cancel without charge 48 hours before departure and you are not faced with pre payment months before, only billed by the hotel.
Re: Hotel Websites
We use trivago.com to find what is available and booking.com to check details, reviews etc.

Re: Hotel Websites
We have used several including booking.com/ holidaynights/ trip advisor/ travel republic and alpha rooms. It's worth checking them all out because prices do vary and sometimes there can be substantial savings made.

Re: Hotel Websites
booking.com is one of very few which has reviews from those who have certainly stayed at a premises and no others. i.e. and e.g. on most websites, anyone can slate somewhere or big it up if they have an agenda .
Re: Hotel Websites
Booking.com also have a best price guarantee - if you've booked with them and later(but before check in) find an identical deal on the web, but cheaper, they will match it. It works, I had £110 back from them last month.

We are in Nice right now and the Hotel cost is €500 per night, we got it through booking.com for € 180 per night including a super breakfast.

My missus just got back from Nice yesterday, Place Massena, some low key hotel €190.00 per night, she said the breakfast was crap though, she recommended a trip to San Remo (with a changeover at Ventimiglia) as a fantastic day out !!
Re: Hotel Websites
Menton right next to the Italian border is fantastic. The food is buenissimo. San Remo for the music festival and also Ventimiglia are well worth a visit.
Re: Hotel Websites
Never got around to visiting San Remo, sounds good. Food in Nice is super and very good value. Drink prices are eye watering but for a few days you can push the boat out. €10 for a glass of wine on the hotel roof terrace but worth it for the setting, €8.50 for a small beer

Re: Hotel Websites
Ive been horrified on how expensive the "cheap" online web sites are these days.
Just dealt direct with the hotel at a much lower price. Did exactly the same for easter with 12 hours prior to check in. I just called the hotel and asked for their best deal.
Ironically i started off with 4 nights but its was 30% cheaper if i booked 5 days. which is did.
