Children's passports
Bit of an upset at Bournemouth Airport today. My wife is flyingback and should be accompanied by our daughter and two grandsons. Unfortunately one grandson, aged 3 years was denied boarding because his picture in his passport didn't look like him. Why didn't it look like him because last time here the passport got wet and the ppicture distorted. They let him fly home then no problem. I know the gate people were just doing thei job as if he was refused entry into Spain because of the picture the airline would be fined but my point is they let plenty of childen that age fly with pictures of when they were babies so look nothing like their passport picture. Baby passports are issued with a validity of 5 years so no chance of the child looking like their picture. MeantimeOne very upst 3 yeard old in Bournemouth and upset daughter and I am off To Malaga airport to collect one very upset wife.
I've got an inferiority complex, but it's not a very good one!
