Malaga Airport, passport control

Postby Evelyn » Tue Nov 15, 2016 10:42 pm

Absolute chaos with the new "E Passport" machine this weekend. Quicker to queue for the normal passport control. Quite different to Gatwick where "Smooth Operators" was the order of the day.

I have used them once in 18 months at Malaga and i use the airport every month. They have had bags over them for the last six months.

They didn't work that well at Gatwick for weeks/months when first installed...............

Two open on Friday night and 1 guard showing people how to work them. Quicker to use the old system as they were waiving everyone thru.

Bit like the self service checkouts at Carrefour then? The staff were spending more time on them than the normal checkouts, so they gave up in the end! Seem to work OK in the UK though
