Travel form to Spain

Postby olive » Thu Jul 16, 2020 3:42 pm

Has anyone driven to Spain (from another country e.g. UK)since the 1st July?

If so what form did you have to fill in and where/when did you get it?

Is it for example this one http://www.spth.gob.es/ ?

Just not sure how process works in a Spanish reg car at say the "Irun" border crossing. There must be hundreds crossing each day for work and other reasons in Spanish reg cars.

Yes , that is the correct website

From the 1st July 2020 all passengers to Spain, regardless of nationality and age, will have to complete the Sanitary Control Form (FCS) before arrival. Before traveling you should complete the form which is available online, in English

Note that if you go in the other direction the form is different - can only be filled in and submitted online, and only within 48 hours of arrival in UK. Sounds a bit tricky if driving. You can do it and save it on a smartphone but allow time for doing so.

The forms seem to require a flight number, mandatory, so if driving what does one enter.
Tks

use the chunnel reference? If a ferry use booking reference. Either will be timed will they not?

Going from here to France then back, so no reference number, unless I make one up.

Maybe this is why there is this 48-hour window, so you can get to your crossing point and fill in ticket number, method of travel (across the channel) and arrival time in UK when you know it. The key things are knowing where you will be and how to contact you if they need to.

That is what I thought would be the case. It might be different n a “ foreign” car.

Do the French have anything similar form wise as we will have to have a stop around Tours?
