Yes, you do. You have to declare which countries you have been to prior to flying.

Whether anyone will check is another matter. The UK is good at introducing such measures, but never seem to enforce them.

Just read this: If you travel to a country on the FCO’s no-go list, you then have to follow the quarantine rules on your return.

No border controls whatsoever near Irun on frontier. Maybe Schengen protects . Thousands of Foreign cars streaming into Spain same day as us.

At the moment the quarantine is from Spain to the UK. France is unaffected especially the Basque side of the Pyrenees. My son crossed into France yesterday and will be back tommorrow.

The main problem is the Aragon and Catalan borders with France and for the moment France is advising against travelling to these parts of Spain.

Impossible to enforce seeing as you are allowed to go food shopping etc. When Daughter visited she just got a follow up call on her mobile from someone who sounded 16. The only problem is your neighbours if they know you have arrived from Spain or workmates. Snitching is quite popular. Spain not much better. González Laya claims the system is working, but anecdotal evidence points to failures. A week ago, when El País newspaper investigated, regions such as Madrid and Catalonia had just one Covid-19 “scout” per 30,000 inhabitants – six times fewer than Germany. Catalonia has since doubled the number.
