Domestic Flights

Postby poppy1 » Mon Jul 05, 2021 11:37 pm

Does anyone know the requirements for a domestic flight, in particular the mainland to the Balearics for a Spanish resident who is fully vaccinated and has the eu certificate?

I think you just need the fit to fly antigen test. 45 euros

From the Vueling website, updated 29 June:

National fully vaccinated passengers

Nationals of Spain who are fully vaccinated are exempted from presenting a negative PCR test. Travelers must bring proof of vaccination – it’ll need to be shown when at boarding.

They must present proof of vaccination that must comply with the Balearic Islands requirements.

To be considered fully vaccinated by the Balearic Islands you must present proof of having received the complete schedule of vaccination against COVID-19 throughout the previous 8 months or a dose at least 15 days before the trip and always throughout the previous 4 months.
Other fully vaccinated passengers

Foreign nationals who are fully vaccinated must present one of the following options:

OPTION 1: PCR COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours prior to arrival.
OPTION 2: antigen COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours prior to arrival.
Other passengers

Passengers arriving in the Balearic Islands are required to comply with one the following options:

OPTION 1: Medical certificate that certifies having recovered from COVID-19

OPTION 2: Negative COVID-19 test result

Test accepted: PCR and Antigen tests.
Time window: 72 hours prior to arrival (PCR) 48 hours prior to arrival (Antigen)
Applicable age: Travelers born in or before 2015.
Exceptions:
Nationals and residents of Spain arriving from any Autonomous Community with an AI less than 60.
Passengers in transit through the Balearic Islands

A bit more research and help from forum members tells me that as a spanish resident I will only need the eu certificate and the QR code obtained via the FCS on the ibsalut website. No need for tests....apparently, at the moment.

Not sure who you are flying with but several days before a flight the likes of Ryanair bombard you with emails with links to anything you need to do pre boarding. Things like the SPTH form etc which UK citizens must fill in for Spain.

If you fly with Ryanair theirs is the official source. Their way or the highway, they make the rules up as they go along.

It will be Ryanair. I have the official source for the FCS. Will be interesting to see what Ryanair come up with!
