Gus, that looks lovely. Certainly a quiet out of town location. We saw them reforming it some years ago. We used to walk along the Via Verde to work up an appetite for the Zuheros cheese festival. Happy olden days….

I think a lot of the locals have decamped to the beach Mark as there's not a parking space to be had along the coast here. Certainly been cooler this summer so far which is good. Enjoy your trip!

We stayed in July, heat was overpowering. Went around early and spent some time at the hotel in the afternoon. Try to visit Carmona, not far away I love it.

Saw huge tailbacks around Malaga yesterday heading back from the beach.

Went today via Malaga and the road was good. We are in relax holiday mode so feeling a little lazy, We still weren't very enthusiastic about going but the visit to Ronda has probably been the highlight of the trip so far.

Back home now.
It’s been a hard complicated year, what with COVID etc so in the end the rest of our stay we just hung around the pool and relaxed. Spent a nice evening in Madrid last night and headed back this morning.
Most of Spain is in the midst of a heatwave.
The temperature in Madrid on a bus stop around 6 in the evening was showing 48C although it had dropped down to 30C by 7:30pm

We stopped yesterday for something to eat around 20 KLM’s into Castilla La Mancha and it felt like an oven. Meanwhile here it’s raining and cool and around 20c
