We used them twice, the first time was at the beginning of July 2021, they only had two desks dealing with the test bookings. We turned up half an hour early for our appointment and i'm glad we did...Those stood in the non appointment queue hardly moved, they were slotted in after all appointments had been seen to. By early Sept they had really got their act together and there were numerous desks to deal with test bookings, i imagine they may have scaled back after the Uk stopped requesting pre departure tests so i can't imagine what the service may be like now or if indeed there still is a service running. The telegraph reported yesterday that pre departure tests may be scrapped again but until the gov announce it i'm not holding my breath.

Trying to book on their website was taking up to a week and no slots on busy days. I have heard of lots missing flights when turning up and not getting tested on time and flight leaving untested behind. You can only speak as you find. I tried to use them twice and in the end used private clinic in malaga city with an excellent service. I wouldn’t use anyone else but hopefully won’t have to for much longer.

Yes, you are right about lack of booking slots costakid...I booked our slot 3 weeks in advance because i noticed how quickly slots were soon fully booked.

Looks like no test before travelling to the UK or isolation after arrival will be required within a few days, just a lateral flow test on the 2nd day after arriving.

That's more or less what i thought as why would a company on the basis that each test was talking a few mins at average of €40 a time... pretty well booked out anytime i tried to book close shop....

Buy a LFT for day 2 uk arrival and if its positive you can get an NHS PCR test for free.

Its quiet for a few weeks so I suppose they are cashing in on anyone who doesn’t know where to get a cheaper test or cant be bothered to go into Malaga city.

I am thinking the pre-travel vaccine will be phased out and these people have advance info.
AFAIK Easyjet use a different facility or they did do Months ago...

There is no pre-travel vaccine, and the pre-travel test will not be required for travel to the UK from 4am Friday.

If and when testing returns I will stick with Bioclon in Malaga as they offer a very professional service for a reasonable price. The last thing you need is a drama at the airport 2 hours before you fly.

True costakid......The last time i had to take a test was at the beginning of September, we dropped off our carhire at the airport and then went to be tested before we went to stay in a hotel for the last part of our holiday...During that time i didn't realise that people were able to purchase a test which they could take with them. The test could be done in a hotel room and uploaded on line..I think that is the way i would go if testing returned.
