I think it should be done by a medical professional in the EU. We probably should have asked for that to be done but, at the time, the doctor didn't suggest it and we were both too wrapped up in the actual illness to think about reporting it.

My physio said his arm was so sore after the second jab he couldn't work for a couple of days, so he's hoping to get his third on a Friday so he's got time to recover over the weekend. Mind you, the worst I've had is the tetanus which made my arm come up in a golf ball size mound and I could barely move it for several days, it was in agony.

1st jab not a problem, 2nd was a bit sore but 3rd painful as administered and for a week after. 1st two were done by a nurse and 3rd by a volunteer in one of the hubs. I think i was his first ever.

My arm was slightly tender after the first two jabs, after the booster jab it was really sore but i could put up with it and it was ok after a week..To put it into perspective it was nothing compared to the BCG jabs all my kids had, they took forever to heal and probably more so because they kept getting knocked during sports..

My first two werent overly sore Although imo they injected to high near the shoulder bone. Ouch!. It helped it was in the summer so i was in the swimming pool all the time. this time i was fine for the first 24 hrs then it was very swollen all around and in my armpit. Young girl injected far round to the right which probably caused it. The whole top of my arm was very sore to touch even no where near the injection site.

Quite a lot of people have had flu like symptoms for a day or two My first two were fine but the third time felt like someone had punched my arm which lasted around 2 days. I probably got off light though.

I'd give this a read before deciding.......this paragraph worries me though.

" Not many people have taken PAXLOVID. Serious and unexpected side effects may happen. PAXLOVID is still being
studied, so it is possible that all of the risks are not known at this time.
