Can anyone recommend a good hotel to stay in Seville we are going up to watch the Real Betis - Chelsea match so somewhere near their stadium would be good

We've stayed over a couple of times when Malaga have played and each time have got in at the Silken Al Andalus Palace, a very nice hotel which is no more than a hundred metres from the stadium.

Have a word with Jose and see if he'll agree to take the pitch with 8 men and give the poor old Betis team a chance?

Thanks alot Alan I'll enquire about that hotel, unless of course jose and his eight men invite us back to their place to celebrate!

The hotel al andalus as suggested was fantastic...shame Chelsea wasn't but although most of the betis fans were great probably 30 or so of them who chose to sit right next to the Chelsea fans were really aggressive and threw glass and plastic bottles at us. not a stadium to take kids to as some did.

but thanks again for the hotel recommendation it was brilliant

Did the Chelsea team stay at the hotel? Villareal were there the other week. What happened to Chelsea? I think the ´falling over´antics of Betis got to them..... how can the Spanish players fake so many falls? They would make good stand-in´s for actors who have to fall

I totally agree it was like its a knockout players falling all over the place...we saw more action from the ambulance buggy than anything else . On the other hand and i hate to say it but Chelsea were truly awful, the players didn't stay at our hotel they were probably sent straight home in disgrace :(
