Yes, there are buses from Malaga bus Station to Rio Gordo. Go to the Malaga bus station website and you will find timetables. Benamargosa is more difficult. You need to take a bus from Malaga to Velez Malaga and then pick up a Valle Nisa bus. Unfortunately they don't publish their timetables but there is , or used to be, one bus from outside the Velez bus station at 1.40 pm.

Can anybody tell me how long the bus journey takes from Almeria to Seville, and how much it costs? Many thanks

If you go to the link I have posted, enter Almeria as origen and then Seville as destination it will give you the timetable, (via Malaga anyway) cost was just over 28 euros. Total

just in case you had not thought about it, there is a regular train service (I think it's 4 times a day) that runs from Almeria to Seville via Granada and a number of other stops. This takes around 5 hours. Cost is about 32 euros. In my opinion, the train is more comfortable than the bus for this type of journey and probably takes the same time.
For the times look at www.renfe.es

Trains in Adalucia

Postby lchuffam » Thu Apr 20, 2006 9:58 am

Thanks for this. The timetables only seem to go up to 30th June, and we - just to be awkward - are traveling in July. Any ideas when later information is likely to go online?

I think you will find that the times are still the same throughout the year.
