to grnada from frigliana on public transport
Bus from Frigiliana to Nerja, then bus from Nerja to Granada. See www.alsinalgraells.es for timetables. Can be done in a day but tiring.
Prefer Brenda's route! Can't see the point of heading all the way into Málaga and then to Granada. Time it takes you to get to Málaga, you could be there. Also depends on what time your ticket for the palaces is. You have got tickets? If not, depending on when you are going, it may be too late. Or the popular morning slots probably will be gone. You need to allow yourself several hours to do the Alhambra. Personally, I've never been to Spain without a car, I wouldn't really fancy doing it by bus. From ****, it's under an hour to the Alhambra by car. By bus, no idea!

Sorry - web site should be www.alsinagraells.es
As Frank says make sure you book your alhambra tickets/time slot in advance - don´t think there are many Easter period slots left. www.grupobbva.com/ALHAMBRA

I did the trip from Nerja to Granada when holidaying there some years ago - didn't fancy the early start so we got the bus from Nerja to Almunecar to connect with the Almunecar to Granada service which as best I remember left Almunecar about 10.30 am. We were in Granada by lunchtime, then found a cheap hotel, stayed overnight (cost about £30 for two) and caught the train from Granada to Ronda early the next morning, spent the day in Ronda then caught a late afternoon bus back to Malaga and then from Malaga to Nerja. Made a really good and not too exhausing two-day trip. It was nice to have the evening in Granada after all the day trip buses had left, it seems a completely different place then.
