Dear Beachcamber / other Experts 22 01 03

Wishing all a happy new year 2022.

I wonder in the form 210 (Non Resident Income Tax) for year 2022 " fiscal year 2021 " has any changes done for the taxation rates with comparison to the year 2021" fiscal year 2020" which was 19% ?? Thanks in advance for your kind advice and assistance.

Best regards
Darjatrading...

Hi darjatrading,
I would refer you to the FAQ.......... but it has been removed.... :?:

so for 19% read 24%...........and check if your Council has done a Revision or the 10 years is up and you move from 1.1% to 2%

Dear Enrique 22 01 05

Thanks for your kind and prompt advice.

Regarding 1,1 %or 2% should I check it with SUMA ?

Hi darjatrading,

1.1% or 2%.................10 year rule , partial revisions don't count

Dear Enrique 22 01 11

After checking with https://www.catastro.meh.es/esp/ponencia_valores.asp
understood that year 2004 was the last revision on my flat, that means from 2014
the Base Imponible should be counted on 2% which by mistake I have counted it on
1,1%.

Unfortunately up to now I have never got any notice from the Tax Authorities !

Now should I recalculate and pay the differences year by year by a revised form 210 ?

Or is it possible to refer directly to the Tax Authorities for correction and to pay all of these accumulated taxes debts directly ?

Is there any prescription time for taxes in Spain ?

Kindly advise any sloutions which can be helpful in this issue.

Best regards

Darjatrading

Hi darjtrading,
"Now should I recalculate and pay the differences year by year by a revised form 210 ?"..........No if they want the difference they will/would have contacted you.

"is there any prescription time for taxes in Spain ?"............ Yes just Google Spanish Tax Calender 2022 or look on the Official AEAT site

Hello
I want to prepare my Form 210 so that I can pay the tax for 2021 during our forthcoming trip.

I've followed the link to the new website https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/ and found some of it in English and other parts not yet translated from Spanish and then I've gone round in circles, trying to find the form to complete it in a similar way to which I have done for years, on the old website.

I must be getting old(er).

Is anyone able to copy and paste the URL that goes directly to the page that contains Form 210 please?

Thank you.

Hi zanuck,
If you have a Digital Signature (DS) you can pull up a previous years submission and Update it.

If you don't have DS...........do a search on the Site (link you Posted).........Modelo 210 or Form 210 for English....... I'll have a look later

If you crack it in the meantime please Post direct Link........... :!:

This link brings up.................. :?:

Hi Enrique
I don't have a DS.

I did try searching on the site, using "Modelo 210", https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/S ... modelo+210 a lot of stuff comes back, but I couldn't figure out how to get to the actual form.
This is what I get when searching with "Form 210 in English", https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/S ... in+English the latest stuff on that page seems to be relating to April 2021.

It's probably (well maybe) so obvious that I just can't see it.

You can find form 210 on the new website as follows:

1. On the main page, in the second section under Information and Procedures / Información y gestiones , select the box titled Non residents / No residentes.
2. On the right side of the page select Non-Resident Income Tax:income obtained without a permanent establishment / Impuesto sobre la Renta de no Residentes: rentas obtenidas sin establecimiento permanente
3. In the box on the top of the right side, select All procedures / Todas las gestiones
4. In the top box on the left are the links to the form used with digital signature (that's what I use). I believe the links to the form without digital signature are in the second box titled Preliminary tax return / Predeclaración:
- Modelo 210. Devengos 2018 y siguientes. Formulario para su presentación (predeclaración) - for tax years 2018 and onward
- Modelo 210. Devengos 2013 a 2017. Formulario para su presentación (predeclaración).- for tax years 2013 to 2017.

The URL for the 2018 and onward one is: https://www2.agenciatributaria.gob.es/w ... /index.zul

Good luck.

Morning Enrique and ericsbcn

Thanks both very much, the direct link works fine.
I did get to ericsbcn's step 4 prior to posting, but something convinced me that I had gone wrong.

Form filling is on the list for later today.

Thanks again - zanuck

Hi,

With reference to all the useful information on this site, I have managed to:
  • Complete 4 years worth of imputed tax forms
Complete 4 years worth or rental tax forms
Then I got a bit bogged down with the digital certificate - I went through the procedure, installed the software, generated a code, proved my identity at the embassy in Manchester (as I'm based in the UK and wasn't planning to be out in Spain for a while). I received notification back from FNMT with a link to download the certificate, but ultimately ended up with an error message.

On more advice from this forum, I posted the generated forms to my bank, and they paid them directly, was was not a bad solution.

I have now received some follow up letters to my home in the UK with details of the late payment charges. Has anyone based in the UK got any ideas how to get these paid?

Thanks in anticipation

Hi Enrique,
There's a link in the reply email from FNMT to "Download Your Personal Certificate" (or similar, in Spanish). I click on that and am taken to an FNMT web page which asks me to enter NIE, Name and Codigo de Solicitude (the number in the email). I then accept T&Cs and click on "Descargar Certificado". A pop-up says I'm about to install the certificate, and I will become the holder. It then asks me for a "contrasena de protection" (the one established previously) and I'm not sure about that number. I tried the one from the email but it's not correct. I'm now looking through notes from last year when I started this process off!
Any thought?
Wayne

Hi Enrique,
I found the contrasena, retried and I think all went well. Will I now be able to pay the payments online?

Hi waynemuns,

Check in your Browser for the Certificate..........for Google Chrome.......other Browsers have slightly different procedure.
the Certificate will be in Personal Tab

Check it out by looking up your details...............

https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/S ... taria.html

N.B.
NOW MAKE SOME COPIES...............on three different Media......two being removable.

Example..........you may have a better filling system................. :D

On C: drive create a folder named Digital_Signatures
In there create a Folder Wanyne

Fire up the Google Browser
Settings --> Privacy and security --> Security
then scroll down to Manage certificates, a window will pop up displaying your Certificate
highlight and goto the Export Tab
The certificate Export Wizard window pops up
Next -->Check Yes --> export the private key
Leave the defaults and click Next --> check Password and type in a Password and confirm
Click Next--> use the Browse Tab and goto the Digital_Signatures > Wayne
Type Wayner_Chrome_DS then press Save continue through the next window and the message Sucessfully Exported will pop up

You will now be able to make Form 210 Payments on-line.................. :D
