Rolling Stones in Almeria

Postby Alan » Sun Jun 17, 2007 3:16 pm

Wife and I are off to see the Stones at El Ejido in Almeria on Saturday 30th June. Our friends who were coming with us have just found out they can't make it and we are left with their two general admission tickets on our hands plus a 3 star hotel room in Almeria city if required.

If anyone fancies seeing this legendary band for what could possibly really be the last time get in touch with me. Looking obviously to try and recoup the cost of tickets which are 86 Euros each (they were the cheapest on sale too!) and if you want the room (Hotel Citymar Indalico) I booked that for a good rate of just 36 Euros room only. Cheers!

That's a sore point! We spent a fair amount of dosh on flights to Barcelona and hotel last year and then Keef fell out of his coconut tree.

Still, Barcelona was nice though . . . . .

Silver, that is the first time I have heard you say anything negative about a spanish place  Wii give it a miss :)

Liza Minelli, Lionel Richie and Enrique Iglesias are appearing in marbella this summer.

For anyone lucky enough to experience the stones for the first time, don't worry, you will definitely get "Satisfaction", I can't recall how many times I've seen the stones, but it's a lot, they may be old, ugly and repetetive but still the greatest band in the world, they put most of the rest in the shade, and remember these guys don't need the money, because they have enough, don't they??

You are so right Retro P. This show will rank right up there with the best of them too I reckon.

Now, did you want just one of the tickets or will you take both of them? Hotel room too?

I do love Spain and find very little negative to say...but I´m not blind..and don´t like plastic.

But Almerimar just a few minutes away is well worth a visit.
