best places for nightlife

Postby toplessinspain » Tue Jan 22, 2008 8:07 pm

Hi-me and my friend are flying out to Gib on Friday, for hopefully a permanent stay in Spain.
We hope to travel up the coast,we love nightclubs, and party all night..sleep all day!
where is the best place in the costaDS..for nightlife..would the nearest place be Puerto Banus?

You are right, the nearest nightclub mecca is Banus, but as far up as Benalmadena's 24 hour square is pretty good - some open at midnight and hurl you out at about 6 in the morning. There are plenty of cabaret bars and karaoke bars to start the evening off.

If you go to Banus take plenty of money as it is far more expensive than the rest of the coast, as alan said Benalmadena has good night life.

I go to Montemar area for the Karaoke bars especially Olivers and Mulligans, you can hear me singing there at least one a month on a weekend night.

I wouldnt bother going out round Gib
perhaps you may be better off booking in a hotel, and venturing over into La Linea for your night out...some nice bars etc,not sure about what the nightclubs are like ..There are some,as i have been told how noisy they are later on..
Have a good time.(if you are going out round La Linea-dont forget to take your passports, otherwise you wont get out or back into Gib.)

You should also be aware that the term 'Night Club' can mean something rather different in Spain.

If end up visiting a 'Club de Noche' you may find yourself living up to your username and going home with rather more spending money than you came with!

Beachcomber club de noche sounds exactly what we are looking for..
we could do with a bit of extra cash to help us fund our trip upto Marbella.
Could you recommend any such places?
names and locations would be good for us.
Thanks.

Private Gentlmans Club in the port. Halfway between the first and second barrier.

You could also try "Hotel" Los Lagos in the Palmones Poligono Industrial between San Roque and Algeciras. Commonly known as "The Lake District" in Gibraltar... as in "have you been to the Lake District recently?"

Freecatsrus : Please let me know when you are next singing. I can then book my holiday in Barcelona. I will not tell you who told me your voice was like a donkey being castrated with two house bricks, because I told Kenny I would keep it a secret.

Sounds like you are the type to fit right in around here, be warned though there is some very fierce competition from professionals.
